Throwback Thursday-“Wishing Well” Terence Trent D’Arby
“Kissing like a bandit stealing time” could be one of the best opening lyrics OF ALL Time (obligatory Kanye shurg). Also I love how he slides into the shot of the video. He came out with a crazy voice with a raspy touch, very urban blues. Love it. Then at the height of his one of two singles (the other being “Sign Your Name”) he managed to douche out by saying he was going to be bigger than the Beatles. Now he didn’t quite manage that but he at least managed one number one single.
